Drassanes – Maritim Museum of Barcelona
Av. de les Drassanes, s/n, 08001 Barcelona
The Maritime Museum of Barcelona is located in the Royal Shipyards, on the seafront of the city. The Royal Shipyards were built as an arsenal of galleys at the service of the Aragon Crown.
The Royal Shipyards of Barcelona was included in the Register of Historical, Artistic and Scientific Heritage of the Generalitat of Catalonia in 1937 and was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument by the Minister council of the Spanish Government on March 5, 1976.
During the Gala Dinner a short concert of post-avantgarde music will take place, in which baroque music will be combined with Catalan and Spanish music, as well as with jazz and free improvisation.
The performers are the world leaders of the genre:
Maya Homburger (baroque violin), Agustí Fernández (piano), and Barry Guy (double bass). Click here to find the audio files from the Gala Dinner and the track list.
Music of great artists, rather than just getting involved with discipline, get to understand love and allow the love to take shape.
